This provides a constant andprecise feed control throughout the stroke length. The feed rate can be adjustedover awide rangeby turning the external adjuster knob at the rear endof the unit. The threadedouter bodymakes installa- tion and the adjustment of feed control travel limits very simple. MAandMVC are similar feed control units intended for applications where thehigher precisionof theVC series is not required. Precision feed controls are self- contained,maintenance-free, temperature stableandstick-slip free. The rollingdiaphragm seal of feed controlswith a strokeup to2.16" (55mm) provides a leakproof sealedunit and alsoprovides an integral accumulator for the oil displacedduringoperation. Thehigh precision, adjustablemetering system can provide accurate feed rates from as low as 0.47 inches/minwith light propelling forces. Applications include saws, cutters, drill feeds, grinding andboringmachines in theplastics,metal, wood andglass industries. Impact velocity range: Avoidhigh impact velocities.
