The bumpers from the innovativeACETUBUSseries aremaintenance-free, self-containeddamping productsmade from a special Co-Polyester Elastomer.Withnearly the samedimensions the TUBUS TR-H typeprovides amuchhigher energy absorptiondue to ahardermixtureof materials. The TR-H type completes the TUBUS seriesbetween theprogressivemodel type TR and the almost linear type TS. This offers an individual andwidelygraduated rangeof damp- ing characteristicswithin thewhole TUBUS series. Theexcellent temperature characteris- ticof thematerial provides consistent damping performanceover a temperatureof -40 °F to 120 °F. The low installedweight, theeconomic priceand the longoperating lifeof up to1million cyclesmake this an attractive alternative to hydraulic endpositiondamping, if themoving mass does not have to stop in anexact datum position and it is not necessary to absorb 100%of the incomingenergy. The space savingpackagesize ranges from Ø 1.18" up to Ø 4.02" and is very simply andquickly installedwith the supplied special stepped mounting screw. The TR-H series havebeen specially developed toprovide maximum stroke in the minimummountingspace in the capacity range from23.9 in-lbs up to 3,779 in-lbs. Lifeexpectancy is extremely high; up to twenty times longer thanurethanedampers, up to ten times longer than rubber bumpers andup to five times longer than steel springs.
